Close-Up As long as she can renember, Anastacia has danced and performed - wherever and whenever she could. Anyone who has ever heard her spectacular voice has been thrilled and deeply touched. Her debut album Not That Kind (2000) made Anastacia into a megastar almost overnight. The following albums where a seemless continuation of this sucess. But in 2003, the singer was stuck with a heavy blow of fate. Fortunatly, she was able to bravely master it: She announced to the world that she suffered from Breast Cancer. Now she has that chapter behind her and the established star and ambitious fashion designer can concentrate on what she loves the most: Music, Fashion, and - when her limited time allows it - to go shopping and relax a bit. My Video: Are there things you like to always carry with you? - I would say that I always bring my dior lipgloss with me, cause, it's like a must. I love the dior lipgloss, it happens to be an obitiual (sp?) thing. I always have my wallet, with credit cards, ready to be used at any time *laughs* Do you like shopping? - I can stand with the best of them I think, I think I can hold my dukes up to some of the top knocktures (?) Do you like to go shopping when you're on tour? - You know I think that it depends on my work. You know, if I have free time then I'm probally gonna do more shopping, if I don't and sometimes Im working, then I dont see any store in any country I'm in, it just isn't possible you know, So it just depends on when the free time comes, and sometimes I dont even feel like doing anything, when free time is at home I don't like to shop as much. You're very famous in Germany. Is it still possible for you to go shopping there? - Yeah I've gone shopping in Germany, and in fact I think it's really funny 'casue people just don't expect me to pull up at like starbucks (?) and go out and get myself a latte'. You know, thats always really fun to do in Germany cause they're like *pauses* you know, they're kinda like, "Her! Is that her?" and of course the minute im like yeah, can I have a latte'? and they're like, "Aye My Gawd" *laughs* you know, so yeah, it's a little obvious. What are your next plans? - I am starting to write the next album, and working on that with the clothing line which is continuing and furthering, you know, other buisness idea's that are in the works. But pretty much the album and clothing line are simontainuously (sp?) going to continue happening always and just making sure neither one of them, you know, are bothered by eachother and nothing else gets put over them, because I find that I am very excited to do both. Anastacia's Fashion My team is tremendously inspiring me. I am very fortunate to be able to work with such fantastic people. As a designer, I've discovered a completly new side of myself. I find it tremendously fufilling to follow this passion and constantly be allowed to learn in the progress. I would say that this is what makes me happiest at the moment. The motto of this years shoot is "Backstage". This means not only the look behind the scenes of showbiz. I also let people see my cards, give insights into the private side of my life. This is really a fitting statement because every collection that I design represents a part of me. Whats the main reason to why we dont hardly see Ana over in the uk anymore because what she does isn't released here? - CLOTHING LINE. Just imagine, 20 years of that. :mellow: Just a SHAME it's not gonna happen though. :lol:

August 5, 200717 yr you can count about 6 of those months on the engagement...cause u couldn't expect her to write during that time plus the record company made her put out a greatest hits which in that time she could have been writing new material and i'm sure next year, now she's had chance to get used to how she's gonna manage her clothing line...that she will be able to manage to do both ;D liking ur new siggi aswell btw joshie ^_^

NTK - 2000, FON - 2001 (OCT). The Freak Of Nature album was released exactly a year and one month after the release of Not That Kind. She dosn't exactly need the years to produce an album, IF she was as passionate as she was about music like she use to be *cough*, the album should of been out at the end of 2005 at least! It's not like she done a great deal of work for her GH, Ben Moody had already written and put together the music for Everything Burns, all Ana had to do was sing. Eros had already written the italian parts to IBTY and the music was already made up for that to, all Ana had to do was write her bits and turn up to the studio. THEN all she had to two was do 2 new songs. :P It's not exactly doing a year of hard work, more like a month!
August 5, 200717 yr well on the fanclub when she left messages she said that she was putting a lot of work into making sure it had the right things here and there and because the record company made her do it she wanted to make it more than just a GH...not sayin that it would've taken her a year but...she knows what she's doin ;) u just have to be patient :lol: and u don't know what it's like to make an album...the amount of work that goes into it...u don't just write and record 12 songs and go...alright they'll do...she'll probs write about 50 songs and cut it down from there Edited August 5, 200717 yr by jax
