You'd have done so much better if you had King and Dawson back and if you didn't try and play all your strikers at the same time and bugger up the whole shape of your team. You'd be totally STUPID to sack someone who's been your best manager in 15 years. He has also had far more money to play with than any other manager in the history of the club Pleat and Gross and so on got around £5-10m + player sales to spend a year, Jol has had almost unlimited funds, player investment has been something like £125m since he has been boss, only Chelsea have spent more in last 3 years I do not necessarily think that Jol should be sacked but I would be surprised if having spent £40m this summer that the chairman will not be thinking "wtf" this morning Edited August 15, 200717 yr by Vic Vega
