Jamelia: Single hits for ex-Mrs

JAMELIA is releasing a Greatest Hits album next month to celebrate her ten years as a recording artist.

The album called Superstar – The Hits is out on September 24 and features all her top songs, including "Thank You", "Beware Of The Dog", "Money" and of course "Superstar".

Jamelia, who just yesterday said she had split from her Millwall footballer hubby DARREN BYFIELD, says: “It seems the right time to put out a Greatest Hits and have all the best tracks I’ve recorded from the past ten years on one album.”

Glad to see J is supposedly supporting this project then :D Looks like there's no single though.
There's going to be a GH? Is that a wise decision considering she has few singles and almost zero popularity atm?

Well, she has had 13 singles which is more than some who are releasing GHs at the minute (Natalie Imbruglia!). I think the thinking behind this is that all the people who thought 'I like Something About You, I like Superstar etc but I dont know if I want the album' will buy this GH :D
I'm actually going to buy this. I havent got any of her albums but like most of her singles.

Her albums are glorious and would be money very well spent http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b364/white_houses01/icon_yes.gif. If you're into the "R&B with a touch of pop" sound, I'd recommend giving 'Thank You' a listen, which also features our very own diva rapping (as does her first record, 'Drama') on it too! However, if it's the pop sound you prefer, 'Walk With Me' is probably the better choice as the majority of that album is pop. There are songs on the album that are more "urban", for example "Know My Name" and "Hustle". Or if it's just the straight-up British R&B sound you're interested in, then give 'Drama' a listen to. :) B)

'Thank You' is my favourite.

On top of all that though, if you're only going to buy one J album this is undoubtedly the one to go for :D She always picks great singles.
