Posted August 12, 200717 yr If I try to load the chat room - or anyone's profile it tells me I have to update my flash player. So I did - clicked on link - installed sucessfully - rebooted computer - but no still says I need to update. I have done this 3 times now  All other sites work - the tests sites on link from adobe site work - just not here?? Does anyone know why??
August 12, 200717 yr Have you tried going to the official site flash player from Google and not the Chat room? Google flash player, it will be there. Reboot ^_^ If that hasn't worked it may be sokmething to do with your PC account? Are you a limited account or computer administrator. That worked when I changed from limited to admin :D

August 12, 200717 yr i get the same message and ignore it and im still allowed into the chat and profiles
August 12, 200717 yr The message is always there, but the application normally hides it once loaded. Its like you write a message under a picture and in case the picture doesn't load you see the alternative text so you know something is wrong.

August 12, 200717 yr Author I think ICR wants in the chat room  i just don't like it when things don't work <_< ....although am getting quite attatched to the blank white screen -_-
August 12, 200717 yr If you cant access the chat at all (I thought you were just complaining about the message) then try going here: http://chat.7thspace.com/talk/ Ince you click the "I'm over 13 years old and agree to the rules - Let me in!" and the chat doesn't load try pressing your CTRL and F5 key at once and the page should refresh and delete any cached versions. Let me know if that works for you. @slick: smartass ;) You love to make it look like i don't understand a thing, but sadly its always YOU who doesn't understand me. I'd suggest you to start trying cause the problem must be on your side as I didn't meet any person on the web who doesn't understand what I'm talking about (and I'm online since many many years).

August 12, 200717 yr Seems like an issue on your side then. Do me a favor and go to http://my-webradio.com and click the logo on the site. It will open up a radio player. Let me know if you can listen to the music or if you are not able to access the flash player there also. This will help me to find out if its a corrupt player installation or permission issue with the chat room domain name.
August 12, 200717 yr just opens a big brown box - no music Another possibility is that you have disabled javascript. Check your system settings and make sure javascript is enabled cause most flash applications use javascript to display the flash embed code. Did you recently install any new anti virus solution (norton etc) or disable javascript for security reasons? That might be the reason then.
August 12, 200717 yr Also try http://www.my-webradio.com/icr.html (which doesn't use javascript) so we can rule out a flash issue and focus on javascript. If that one works then you have a javascript issue.

August 12, 200717 yr Author I am guessing a hoodied creature has been "playing" I shall interrogate them when they get home ;) Edited August 12, 200717 yr by ICR
August 12, 200717 yr That means you have issues with javascript and your flash player is ok. I woud suggest to recheck your browser settings and also what "internet zone" you use. Maybe you changed some settings without noticing (can happen if you click something by mistake). Check anything in your browser settings which refers to active scripting / javascript and enable it. Hard to debug such an issue as it can be a lot of things. At least we know its javascript :D Here is a great help site so you can check your settings: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/...mp;answer=12654
