ok, ok, ok.... pinched the idea from the lounge where all the young 'uns are voting for recent acts... thought this would be a good thread for retro ..

just list you 20 most hated retro acts and if theres enough votes we will see whos the worst!

ON THIS OCCASSION 'RETRO' WILL MEAN PRE 1990, real retro, ... think hard and vote away!

Someone in the lounge thread put The Beatles! Guess it's a reaction to the way they have dominated and continue to do so over the last 40 years+

Yep I've spotted that. Don't be surprised if I edit my Top Hate 20 list to include Mariah Carey, in the same position Kelly placed The Beatles. :naughty::D:

And she include Madonna, Robbie Williams & Oasis in her Top 6 as well.

Well TBH I'd put Robbie at about the same position. In fact I think I did :naughty:

But Madonna and Oasis?

I've already done the Lounge thread, so I've taken out the post '89 ones and added some more (and there are oh so many to chose from).

so looking at this list and getting rid of all the novelty acts am i right in saying you're not a fan of smooth??? c'mon whats wrong with the moments and whatnaughts??? thats actually one of the record on smooth that they play every day (they only have 6 records) that i dont actually mind.

shhhh thats queen kelly! she has the worst taste in music EVER! :P lol..

12. Bros

13. Brother Beyond

does 12 include the management of P!nk, Blade 2 and being the head of RCA records???

does 13 include Will Young, Tranvestites, Jessica Garlick, James Morrison, Joss Stone, Beverley Knight etc etc etc

The Reynold Girls should automatically get the number one spot for this because of "I'd Rather Jack". Granted I even love the production that Stock/Aiken/Waterman did with it... still the lyrics alone are just ridiculous lolz.
No wonder they were dropped from SAW so fast lmfao, the "choreography" in the video is priceless though hahahaha.

Nah they shouldnt be on the list as just the thought of that dance they do (the jack) is making me smile. actually now wondering if they are gonna be played again tomorrow on the hits as one of the videos on Timmy Mallet's Utterley Brilliant hits countdown ?? Obv a production group pisstake. couldnt have been a proper pop prosition. must have obv be writen for a laugh.

actually think they are even more funnier than the Cheeky Girls (and they are totally iconic ) and hair metal put together. due to this I think they should be replaced by someone who doesnt bring much laughter and happiness to the world...namely a comedy vacuum like Ben Elton!!!
