this poll is a bit ironic, actually.... on one hand, you've got Robyn's Eurocheese, a song that sounds like a tampon advert soundtrack - but a track that the 'chart-head' fans of 'dance' are bizarrely claiming is the 'first big dance hit of the year' (dance?  )...on the other, you've got one of the hottest DJs and remixers around at the moment, that the serious dance fans are lauding as the best dance track of the year.

It seems unfortunately apparent we have more of the chart heads here on Buzzjack <_<

Dance is music that makes you want to dance, by definition. Both make you do so and therefore both are dance hits, it's just that Robyn is a good deal more commercial, and a hell of a lot better.

all I can suggest is - visit a club.

Preferably not Yates, where Eurotrash like Robyn would get those punters dancing round their handbags like the Reynolds Girls on speed.

ALL music contains a repetitive beat and usually a hook of some sort - whether it be Axwell or Editors - so of course not all music that makes you want to dance can be classed as 'dance music'

I could not give two hoots what genre of music Robyn's track is. I care not what genre of Dance music it is whether Eurotrash or not. It is a great track IMHO end of discussion.

Personally, I think you are insulting a fantastic dance track that is light years superior to gawd awful Euro Cheese like Cascada & Infernal.

Especially as the Axwell track which I also like sounds considerably more retro a la Original - I Luv U Baby (1995).

But hey what do I know, guess which track Pete Tong introduced at the start of his Dance show on Radio 1 (after the brilliant Foo Fighters gig on Radio 1) as "The Best Dance track of the year so far"?

Clue: it was not Axwell - I Found U

im getting annoyed with the 'eurocheese' label on Robyn, if anyone thinks its in the same league as Vengaboys, Alice Deejay, Cascada, u need to get ur hearing tested

'With Every Heartbeat' IS THE best dance track ive heard for ages and sounds so refreshing compared to the same old, generic r'n'b tosh that clogs up the charts...RANT OVER lol

Really, really hard choice this time...but in protest im voting for Robyn

Look like we have a clear winner.

Next to enter the sounclash will either be Gym Class Heroes, Eve, Hard Fi or Calvin Harris. Any preferences? :D
