August 17, 200717 yr I could not give two hoots what genre of music Robyn's track is. I care not what genre of Dance music it is whether Eurotrash or not. It is a great track IMHO end of discussion. Personally, I think you are insulting a fantastic dance track that is light years superior to gawd awful Euro Cheese like Cascada & Infernal. Especially as the Axwell track which I also like sounds considerably more retro a la Original - I Luv U Baby (1995). But hey what do I know, guess which track Pete Tong introduced at the start of his Dance show on Radio 1 (after the brilliant Foo Fighters gig on Radio 1) as "The Best Dance track of the year so far"? Clue: it was not Axwell - I Found U   :D :D :D To compare Axwell to I Luv U Baby, I'm afraid, kind of shows your extremely limited reference point in the Dance genre. And to think I thought you were pretty well versed in music, thisispop  I can only presume your knowledge stops at number 75. And to even suggest Pete Tong is in some ways an authority on great dance music is ludicrous - he's a Radio One DJ who plays commercial dance music - end of. I would fully expect him to champion Robyn - he's a completely out of touch, toe-curling 50 year old man who thinks he's 'down with the kids'. Well he may well be down with the Radio One kids - but Pete Tong, at best, caters for the Misery of Sound tacky dance compilation crowd. He's hardly the John Peel of the dance world, is he? Robyn firmly belongs in the Cascada bracket - the 'kiddie disco' brigade as it's known. Utterly putrid record - but one you had in your Personal Chart. At number one
