http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a48/KewLLady/nicoles12.jpgNicole Scherzinger Tells Superman to Shove It

WHO: Nicole Scherzinger

WHAT: "Super Villain"

WHY: No matter what 50 Cent thinks of her last name, Nicole Scherzinger's solo debut is looking to be one of the biggest albums of the fall. Her first single, "Whatever You Like," was an illicit hip-hop flavored track that emphasized her, um, eager-to-please nature. "Super Villain," with its super-light pop feel, is more Doll-like and plays to her candy-coated strengths. Sounding like the Janet Jackson comeback single that should've been, it takes the whole "bad boy" fixation further than ever thought possible. "I need a super villain to come and rescue me," she says before launching into a "super/bad" call-and-response hook that will undoubtedly ping around inside our brain for months to come. Whenever Hollywood decides to put an openly gay bad guy in a big budget comic book movie (no, Jim Carrey's Riddler in Batman Forever doesn't count), this will be his theme music.

PCDworld will not be posting this as a download as per our no mp3 policy. Please buy the album to support Nicole.
