NO, i wouldnt touch one of thier records with a 30 ft long bargepole

especially after they had a dig at The Enemy, who in my opinion are a far superior band, in this weeks NME

The Enemy are f***ing awful. About the most generic band to emerge this year.

i wouldnt say f***ing awful, its just that paul weller mini me thing, records are alright, just as long as you close your eyes when they are on tv

Nope, I wouldn't pay that ridiculous amount of money for ANY one single track... I'd just download the fukker for free....

The Courteeners??? Who the hell are they supposed to be then...?? Another overhyped NME Fad Band.... Somehow I doubt we're talking the new Velvet Underground, Joy Division or Smiths here....

well i understand the attraction of collectors wanting the physical copy to tresure and yeah, if it is really rare and old, you kinda understand the prices records go for in record collector mag, but this is like two weeks old. i know its supposed to be like one of the records of the year, but the price it shot up, wondering if loads of people bought it not to play it!!!

i dont know if NME fad band is the right term, as they've only seemed to have picked up on them. so that means q will have them in their 'i've just found this great new on myspace' sometime in 2099

(only joking, whoever buys emap will have axed that mag by then   )
