It might be another 10 months before Will does another tour, :o next July at the earliest, ask yourself if you can survive? it's already been a year since I last saw Will sing live and I need this Will fix to get me through till the album release. :yahoo:
September 6, 200717 yr Thanks to Vibe. We must have missed this OS interview with Will. Don't forget that you can check Will out this weekend when he takes to the stage as part of BBC's Proms in the Park event. We chatted to him recently and here’s what he had to say on the subject. So what's the story with the Proms? We're performing with a full band, it should be really good because it's nice to perform while you’re writing in the studio and it'll be good to do a gig again as I haven't done one for while. Will you be choosing the songs? I think we'll probably try and do a new thing but it just depends on how much time we have. I think we're still sorting out the songs and things like that. Are there songs that you want to do? Yeah, there area always songs that you want to do - the better known ones. Sometimes you think, 'Oh, I've wanted to do this Nina Simone song for ages.' I got to sing at a friend’s wedding during the summer and did a whole load of covers and it was the best thing ever. The Bangles, David Bowie, Tiffany, The Beatles – it was great! What was the response like? I would say brilliant but I could be lying, of course I'm going to say that. Yeah, I think people enjoyed it. Covers are a fun thing. Looks like we could well be getting something new. :yahoo: I remember Will saying he was sorting out songs for a friends wedding I thought he meant tracks to play but he obviously meant covers for him to sing. David Bowie was my teenage hero & one of my guests at the dinner party. Wonder what song of his Will chose? Edited September 6, 200717 yr by truly talented

September 6, 200717 yr I do hope his set doesn't get cut due to time constraints. Pavarotti has died and they may want to pay their respects.
September 6, 200717 yr I do hope his set doesn't get cut due to time constraints. Pavarotti has died and they may want to pay their respects. Hadn't thought of that. Hope I don't appear insensitive but here's hoping any tribute is done during Lesley Garrett's set.
September 6, 200717 yr Thanks TT. I checked out the home page yesterday and didn't notice that. Hope he has the time to learn and rehearse a new one. So he 'fluffs' it ...I'd forgive him :P

September 6, 200717 yr Don't care much about Bowie, don't know anything about the Bangles, and as far as the Beatles are concerned, as long as it's not TLAWR, I won't mind. ;) But he might not do anything like this, just because he did at that wedding. Nina Simone, though! Yay! In general, though, I'm just so looking forward to hearing him sing again. I hope he's on as good form as he was at the Princes Trust Anniversary concert. :D Edited September 6, 200717 yr by Toni
