Posted August 19, 200717 yr Which track should be Duran Duran's comeback single? The 1980s New Romantic legends & Sony appear to be in a dilemma. There are two tracks that are being proposed as the lead off single from their forthcoming album Red Carpet Massacre. One is the very contemporary and percussive Timbaland produced track "Nite Runner" which has not gone down well with Duran's ageing hardcore fanbase, but has received positive comments from younger music fans or the Timberlake produced & co-written track "Falling Down" which has a much more traditional Duran adult contemporary sound (think Ordinary World). August 19, 200717 yr if im not misteaken..i think "Fallin Down" was also produced by Timbaland?? NITE RUNNER will re-establish Duran Duran as a chart force in the USA. Falling Down is a pretty pop song that will appeal to Duran Duran fans but maybe not the general public imo And Duran Duran haven't had a hit in the usa since 1993.Nite Runner sounds very modern and will get them back on us radio's again because its groovy and fresh. Duran duran haven't really had any radio support ftom the usa in a long ass time "Nite Runner" is the real deal yall Falling Downb is good but it;; ll be ignored as same old, same old another very duran duran ballady style song. In the usa.Theres seems to be some predjudice against DD on american popular radio & Night Runner would defitinely stop that attitude as its very modern and got timbalan on it. August 19, 200717 yr being a die hard duranie its hard for me to understand why they have gone and joined forces with a hip hop producer and Im not sure about either of the tracks. I hope the album does well for them but in the long run of things its not normal DD so we will have to wait to wait and see <_<
August 19, 200717 yr can Mr Mosley be fired into space by the Russians? he is making the charts v boooring with his lumpy pop productions. Duran Duran!!! Celine Dion!!! please stop lsfIYMDAxYQ ah robbie's radio much better!!!
August 19, 200717 yr I think Nite Runner should be the first single, and then Falling Down should follow it up...

I guess that 'Timberland' is the modern day equivalent to 'Chic'.
September 14, 200717 yr Nite Runner, but I don't find either great thb. Jumping on the Timbaland bandwaggon is becoming tiresome, and I did'nt expect a band like DD to do so. I hear Aerosmith may be doing the same.
September 14, 200717 yr  This sound doesn't suit them for some reason. It's weird to listen to Duran Duran taking this direction.
September 14, 200717 yr Author A third track from the forthcoming Red Carpet Massacre album has leeked, which quite frankly blows Nite Runner & the single Falling Down out of the water. Virtually everyone on Duran Duran forums thinks this (too?) radical 21st century sounding track should (have) be(en) the comeback single by the band: 3g2VYhQQpgo Duran Duran ft Timbaland - Skin Divers Do you agree?
