TMZ.com has learned exclusively that Nelly Furtado will be performing at the 2007 Video Music Awards on September 9 in Las Vegas. This is great everyone,I hope she performs Do It.Also hope she wins the award she's nominated for too.I can't wait.Go Nelly.

Nelly Furtado, Lil’ Wayne and Gym Class Heroes have been lined-up to join Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and Rihanna at the MTV Video Music Awards.

 

Grammy-award winner Furtado has been nominated for female artist of the year, while Lil’ Wayne has been voted MTV’s hottest MC in the Game by a panel in the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust.

 

Other artists lined-up to appear on the night include T-Pain, nominated in the new category of Monster Single of the Year for his single Buy U A Drank and Common, who’s album Finding Forever, produced by Kanye West, hit the number one in the US Billboard album chart.

 

Ballots for the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards were sent out for the first time to artists and musical tastemakers as well as industry figures and viewers for the first time to decide the nominees. The event, presided over by Timbaland as maestro, will take place at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas.

It was the EMAs in which she sang Maneater.. hehe. Last year's VMA she didn't even attend.. The only time she ever stepped on the VMA stage was when she performed Get Ur Freak On for like 10 seconds on Missy's performance. haha.

 

And I do hope she sings Do It. Love this song and I need a performance to add on my videos collection. And I hope she brings Missy with her. Only this time it will be the other way around. Nelly performing and Missy getting her 10 seconds.

I really hope she performs Do It,this performance will really help boost it up on TV and on radio stations.

Rumor has it that she will be joined by Missy and Chris Martin on her performance! I would simply die if it was true.

What do you mean stick to the ballads? her last ballad in the US flopped and her last ballad in the UK also flopped (big time), the US for some reason doesnt take to a lot of ballads, i mean look at poor Gwen with 4 In The Morning. i hope she does perform Do It, a big performance like this could insure her another top 10 in the US.
