It's the Mods/skinheads fave mode of transport the Vespa scooter's birthday this year. 60 years since it first came out in 1946.

 

Anyone ever been a mod or a skinhead and have ridden a scooter as part of their sub-genre of culture?

Mods/Skinheads were kinda the chavs of the 60s/70s wernt they? Remember hearing about the fights on brighton beach between the Mods & Rockers, must of been early 60s, shocked the nation at the time

Nope, but I think they were more mid-late 70's early 80's. Though I do know many of the newer psychobilly types here. The punk rockers are seemingly dieing out in this country.

Nope , however i actually wouldn't mind one of those ^_^ They look kind of nice to me somehow.
