August 22, 200717 yr I loved Sophie, but nothing since Read My Lips has been close to good enough imo. I don't see how people can say she still makes "perfect" pop, it's bland as... Beggars belief. -_- <_<
August 22, 200717 yr I'm thinking no, but if it were to occur, another label would pick her up, I believe.

I have 2 agree with this. I have her first album which was good but after that it has been just downhill for her. A few ok singles and rest very bland ones (like the last two singles). All the innovation and edgyness is gone. She needs a good single soon (haven't heard the song every1 here thinks will save her) or she will be dropped...surprised that they didn't drop her right after the last single's disasterous chart-performance.
August 24, 200717 yr I dont think that she will be droped, however i only see a terreble selling greatest hits collection selling coming on....
August 25, 200717 yr I think some people are forgetting - her 2nd album - shoot from the hip only had 2 singles released from it because he was pregnant and had problems so had to stop there - hense the album not getting more hits. and this new album which has been out like only 13/14 weeks which got to number 7 - you need to give it a chance before you say "she is getting dropped"
August 25, 200717 yr It's had THREE singles to promote it which averages out at 12k sales per single. With another 3 singles it would barely scratch Shoot's sales! You need to stop looking through rose-tinted glasses; it IS alright for a fan to say their favourite artist is under-performing, which Sophie's album CLEARLY is.

I think that 13 weeks is a good amount of time for a "chance" We need to face facts and realise that her being dropped is a possible reality. Edited August 25, 200717 yr by Kieran
