Posted August 21, 200717 yr Madonna's PR Liz Rosenberg spoke to Foxnews.com and confirmed the rumours about a possible move from her current record label: Madonna is considering leaving her current label Warner Music Group (WMG) after her next two albums are released, but before any new contracts with Live Nation, WMG or any other company can be arranged, Rosenberg said, Madonna will release her forthcoming and as-yet untitled album - set to come out later this year or early next - and a greatest hits album with WMG, the label she has been with throughout her career. 'Once that’s done, Madonna is a free agent,' Rosenberg said. 'Her management is considering a move to another company.' Source: madonnalicous
August 21, 200717 yr WOW That's a big change for her. She struggled a bit with the promotions of the last couple of albums with Warner I think.

August 25, 200717 yr If she does end up leaving Warners, I think this will mark the beginning of endless Madonna compilations milking her back-catalogue, including rare and unreleased tracks. Or will Madonna still own the copyrights to these recordings?
August 27, 200717 yr I think it will be some kind of Ultimate Madonna, with all her hits from her Warner years... some IC+GHV2 repackage with a couple of tracks from COADF and the new album. Guess how many missing hits it will include... just like the prev Gh... :o LifeLight
