love him or hate him he was (I guess I should say is actually) an extremely talented dude. My favorite song that was actually performed by him... is "reach out" anyways, he has written/produced for so many artists though..

He was also responsible for writing for and producing 70s disco outfits Chic and Sister Sledge

And the Sister Sledge records produced by Nile Rodgers are easily the equal of Chic, not tripe like Frankie.

Nah I would compare Timbaland to the 1980s/1990s Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis producing team if we are going to be comparing Timbaland to producers.
