Long Road Out of Eden is the group's first offering since The Long Run in 1979. The album will be available in the US through retail stores Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, as well as online via the band's website, said distributors Universal Music Group International. The band broke up in the 1980s after a series of very successful hits including 'Hotel California'. They reunited in the early 1990s and have been touring ever since. The album's lead single 'How Long' saw its video and radio premiere earlier in the week. Universal CEO Lucian Grainge said: "It's rare to have the opportunity to be involved with a band of their stature, as they define popular music in so many ways." Long Road Out of Eden will be released internationally on October 29 and in the US the following day.
