Westlife are busy recording their brand new album at the moment, but Nicky’s taken some time out to send this exclusive message…

 

Hello everyone

 

After taking a few months off to unwind after the tour, we’re finally back in the studio. We’ve been busy working on the new album for the past couple of weeks and are having a really great time. I know you’ve all been dying to hear some new material from us, so you’ll be pleased to hear that the album will have loads of BRAND NEW tracks on.

 

We’re due to finish in the studio this week and then we’re jetting off abroad next week to shoot the video. Can’t give too much away at the moment, but stay tuned and we’ll let you know a bit more about it soon.

I know you’ve all been dying to hear some new material from us, so you’ll be pleased to hear that the album will have loads of brand new tracks on.

 

Does this mean that it will be brand new songs? Or just there version of songs that were sucsessful for other people?

brand new songs for sure... Hope the single will be original though..... The album will for sure be built up from more originals than covers but not sure what's gonna be the new single.

The most hilarious thing is that recording "brand new tracks" for a new album is like something big and a surprise for them lol

you never know. they've written many songs for their albums. Even when brian left. They wrote 1-2 songs for face to face album

the day westlife produce something original will be the day the earth starts rotating in the oposite way...
