March 20, 200619 yr I love the video, she's a good looking girl. The "la la la, la la la, la la la la la OH!" bit is insanely catchy.
March 20, 200619 yr Great song!! good use of the 'Tainted Love' sample aswell, not sure where it'll chart yet though??
March 20, 200619 yr I liked it when I first heard it but I find it annoying and repetitive now, I don't think it'll be as successful as Pom da Replay was, but I'm wrong a lot.
March 21, 200619 yr Personally I think it's Rihannas best single  Why do we have a different video to the US though?
March 22, 200619 yr Author Personally I think it's Rihannas best single  Why do we have a different video to the US though? the video is going to be a nike theme i believe as nike is paying her so they can use her song in commercials etc.
March 23, 200619 yr There's two videos. One is a promo thing for Nike where basically it doubles as a fitness regime. You can only see that one on the internet here http://www.nike.com/nikewomen/us/index.jhtml The actual video looks more like it's being sponsored by Nokia - such a blatant use of product placement.

Agreed Like when The Black Eyed Peas use the phone at the start of the Let's Get It Started Video, and when Mary J. Blige uses hers in Be Without You, and when Missy Elliott uses that camera thing in Lose Control -_-
April 16, 200619 yr GRRRRR why does she have to use the Soft Cell sample. The words in the SOS song are dire! Now all the scally kids like it. She is probably one of the most dullest wooden popstars!

She is probably one of the most dullest wooden popstars! she is a sexpot of the finest nature. anyway i believe that record was a soul record before marilyn manson and soft cell got there hands on it, so it's gone full circle.
April 16, 200619 yr Exactly my point! People care about her look more than her tunes! Marilyn Mason's version I could listen to. I liked it
April 16, 200619 yr I agree, it is awful MM at least did a great version of the original(I happen to prefer MM version to soft cells) but SOS just grates on my nerves rubbish lyrics with the repetitive tainted love bit droning on and on, serving no purpose in the song to my mind, however - she is pretty?? can't say I have seen her

April 16, 200619 yr I love this! And I think it uses the sample well, but it's getting very overplayed and I'm boring of it, and I just know I'll be sick of it very soon.
April 16, 200619 yr Doesn't posting topics about certain songs in here defeat the purpose of all the music forums on BJ? :P
