Posted August 28, 200717 yr Everyone is really excited at the fact that Madonna has been in the studio the past several months. That just means that the genius that is Madonna is ready to re-invent herself once again. That is the least we can expect from her right? Well, on Thursday at the "Pop Rocks" party at Club 13, the deejay announced that he had a new Madonna song which was produced by Pharrell Williams. Naturally the crowd went wild. "Everyone cheered and was excited, but when it started playing, few were dancing," a source at the party told the NY Post. "The song sounds almost exactly like Britney's 'Slave to You,' which Pharrell also produced. The response was tepid at best. They need to go back to the drawing board with that one." Now after reading that didn’t you become extremely sad right? I sure did, but it is only one song from a bunch of possible hits so there will probably be many more songs that we are gonna like...I hope! http://www.hollyscoop.com/BlogImages/6721236---madonna_gym.jpg
September 1, 200717 yr you know, she is a human, and she doesn't have to reinvent herself THIS time. Well somehow I doubt Madonna will still be wearing the leotards when she's doing R&B music, so she kind of does...
September 3, 200717 yr Judging by the leak of 'Beat goes On' and the 17 second clip of 'Candy Shop' i really don't think its a major change for Madonna musically. I think the music is still heavily electro influenced and it just sounds like all the typical Timberland/Neptunes sound that everyones embracing!! Saying that, we shouldn't make drastic assumptions on an album that we've not heard in its entirety! I certainly hope that the rest of the record isn't in the vain as these two leaks!
September 3, 200717 yr I'm sure she will come up another look. She's got the best fashion people working for her. I do agree that I do not want to see anymore leotards though! And I'm hoping the videos will be much better than the ones she did for COADF.
