Goodrem was hurt by home-wrecker claims Tuesday, August 28 2007, 10:37 BST By Daniel Kilkelly Delta Goodrem has admitted that she felt devastated by claims that she was responsible for the break-up of Brian McFadden's marriage. The Australian singer has always insisted that she did not start dating McFadden until December 2004, after they performed their duet 'Almost Here' together at the Royal Variety Show. McFadden had split from former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona in September of that year, and reports in the British press speculated that Delta and Brian had started their romance before the separation. While Katona received sympathy from the public after speaking extensively to the press about her marriage breakdown, Goodrem decided not to comment on the claims that were being made about her. "That was like the pinnacle of when I started to go 'this is not enjoyable anymore'," Goodrem explained during an appearance on Australian TV show Enough Rope. "I only got in this to do music and to bring out a positive message. And I felt really betrayed." "I thought the best thing I could do was keep my dignity and be quiet about it," she continued. "Maybe that wasn't the best thing I could have done. Maybe I should have said 'no, that's not how it happened,' but I didn't." Goodrem's comeback single 'In This Life' will be released Down Under in October.

August 28, 200717 yr Delta was better to keep qiute i think, it took a certain amount of pressure off her..Kerry should be ashamed to breath! She is a horrible selfish person who ruined Delta's career for quuite a while and caused Detla to lose faith in the industry, and Kerry probably ment to do it!
August 28, 200717 yr No actually... Neither Delta nor Kerry is guilty, i think.. If you read Kerry's column constantly in OK she said she was sorry for Delta to become ill and that Brian and her had had problems far earlier... They started to fight while having the first baby and the second was meant to save marriage... Well, they split and Brian needed somebody to cheer up... and here was Delta.
