Ironically, I think Rihanna's current single "Shut Up & Drive" does not suit her vocals - I could imagine Shania Twain doing a brilliant country-fied version of the track, or Pink or Fergie covering it better than the job Rihanna has done.

I agree about Shania doing Shut Up And Drive - not that I don't love Rihanna's, but it'd be great to hear it in a country style!

it would have suited brit if we didnt hear rihanna's version first. i think it was quite foolish to turn this down, a catchy song like this would have done wonders for her comeback.

As for this, as many people have said if Britney had taken it it would've sounded completely different, it would've had a different video (a factor in it's success I think), it might not even had been released... so as I like the song so much, Britney's people made a good decision ^_^
