Yes the weather was great for 07 but the music was better for 08. RAGE!

Goldfinger were so fun aswell, Bloc Party were great plus others blah blah blah.

yeah 2008>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2007 by far. RATM, METALLICA, THE D, etc.

Goldfinger one of the best bands for me aswell  they are so unappreciated. Bloc Party were well good too, alot better than they were in 2007, im seeing them again in Bloctober.

i first went 2006 though B) and saw Arctic's which is why i wont be majorly bothered if they clash bad this year, unless the new album is astonishing.

The weather was so bad at Leeds last year, it kinda put a damper on the whole festival for me. The Wednesday was so bad. Queing for 4 and a half hours, and then it p***ing down and creating inches worth of mud is not my idea of fun. =[
we didnt have it too bad, it only rained once and that was at like 5 in the morning anyway, although i was still up at this point and outside lol, most other people werent though.

It rained on and off on Wednesday at Leeds from about 5 onwards. Pissed it down at about 8/9 irrc correctly. Then it was really bad through the night. Again I think it pissed it down Friday night too (infact i'm sure it was Friday, as I remember it was the Saturda where I missed quite a few bands I wanted to see as I cba to track backwards and forwards through the at that moment in time VERY sticky mud).

Leeds last year was so bad weather wise. =[ I pray that this year its sun rather than mud.

The mud was so bad, worst weather ever officially. How could they have let it get so bad?

I don't think they were banking on it being that bad. But it was f***ing ridiculous. They put wood chippings down near the arena but the woodchippings never even touched any of the campsites. Was awful, seriously awful. The worst bits I found were near the camping shops near Blue, and the bath that led down from red to Blue not via the camping shops. @D My friend almost lost his wellie in that part of the mud.

lol we had woodchip fights in the crowd last year.

I wish the crowds weren't so dense at times at Leeds... I had a fear of being crushed plenty of times. I've got bad memories from Pendulum.

at Pendulum, i went in a circle pit... to breathe.

crowds are fun unless your thirsty.

I just remember getting crushed on the way out. Too many ppl there.

I've never been anywhere NEAR the front on the main stage. I don't really intend to either haha.

im very surprised i survived Rage....

(yeah i was in that)

the front is alright earlier in the day, i was right at the front at one point during Anti-Flag (but then again the pit was massive so that was easy) and also Dropkick Murphy's, who werent to exciting until i got to the front, there are hidden wonders when you get to the front.

I'm not really into all the pits.

Some people just get a bit carried away sometimes in them. Like the drunken yobs etc. which is why I try to avoid them haha.

This is the Avenged Sevenfold girl I was on about btw.

Ahhh the memories. <345

Gaawd Rage was so immense

I was right in the front area but got out after 3 songs because it was so packed, I prefer them when they are circles like the one above, I got into one of those a little bit later.

Edited by Ashford.

I got told that Reading was worse for trouble than Leeds, I think. But Leeds can get quite bad for trouble, well, as can all festivals.

Sunday is just violent tbh.

well in some places very fun, in others very deadly.
