I can't wait for the Leeds vs Doncaster play-off final. They're hyping it up loads over here. Come on Doncaster! Euro 2008 should be good. It'll be nice to watch it from a neutral perspective and just watch all the good teams instead of concentrating fully on England. I can remember the group of death and that's about it though. I think that's with Italy, France, Holland and Romania.

Think i'll be supporting France in the whole tournament, i remember wearing a France shirt to a non-uniform day at school, on the same day as their loss to Senegal. Not a good day to be the only person in a school wearing a France shirt

I remember that game! That was the World Cup France totally flopped at. Darn Senegal players though. Liverpool managed to buy a couple of them, and well, they weren't exactly brilliant to say the least. I've no idea who will win the Euros this time around though. I don't really see any clear favourites tbh, but I have that sneaky suspicion Spain will sneak it.

I must have cursed them by getting the shirt, they didn't even score a goal

Hahaha El-Hadji Diouf and Salif Diao  Diao's so bad, but he's coming up with Stoke

I love Spain, Fabregas, Torres and Villa in the same side? Yes please

Diouf wasn't that bad, he was just erm...wasteful? very arrogant too. Diao was one of the worst EVER players I have seen in a Liverpool shirt. I hope Stoke get rid of him, or they're gonna really struggle (as if that wasn't already the case )

Spain have by far and away the best team on paper, and certainly the best attacking line up, but I think they could struggle if they came up against a side like Holland or Portugal who have very pacy players, and have good attacking talents as their defence is pretty weak at times. That said, Villa and Torres are two of the best attacking players in the world and they've got creative players like Xavi and Fabregas to set them up with good chances.

Tbh, i wouldn't be surprised if Bolton majorly struggle without Diouf next season, if the rumours of him moving on to a bigger club prove to be true. Dunno about Stoke tbh, i can actually see them doing better than West Brom :o Everyone seems to think West Brom will stay up, but i think they'll be going down.

Come on Spain :w00t: Im interested to see how Croatia do, they could go far if they manage to go past the group stages ^_^

Diouf's almost certainly gonna move on. I think all of the 3 promoted clubs will go down tbh, Stoke will really struggle. They've got an excellent manager, but they've no way got the squad, and even if they spend 50 million in the summer I don't think it's help them. Hull or Bristol City are certs to go straight back down though imo.

Croatia could go a Greece, although I doubt it tbh. Will be interesting to see how they do, but I don't think they'll do that well tbh. I actually think Portugal could do very well too. :o

I agree. Although as a joke some of my friends have said he was racially abused by Vidic. The amount of people that actually think we're being serious though is stupid haha. I was so gutted for Chelsea though. I've never cheered Chelsea on ever before but I did tonight as I just don't like Man Utd. Shame it had to go down to penalties though. Is never nice to lose, especially on penalties.

I want Hull to win, so i can discuss Premiership football with Jonny next year

The mighty Posh got promoted, and i want Doncaster to win so we can play Leeds next season

The problem with Hull is they've too many players who are past it imo. Barmby etc. wouldn't be able to last in the Premier League.

I was wanting York to get promoted last season, and then Leeds to get relegated so we'd both be playing each other in League 2. Alas no. :(

Hmm i doubt many of them will play much tbh, but then i dunno that much about them  Im looking forward to the 7 subs rule next season, should give a few more youngsters a chance ^_^

Where did York end up?

Yeah I think it will too. But then again I guess it might also not. Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea all have huge squads, with a lot of fringe players. :\ Oh well.

16th. We had a terrible finish to the season. I'm just glad last season is over. Such a bad year of football for all the clubs I follow.

Yeah that's true, and tbh i hope Arsenal have a bigger squad aswell

Blimey, weren't you tipped to go up aswell or did i make that up?
