No chance tbh. I know it's not much to go by but their pre-season has been SHOCKING thus far. They desprately need to strengthen that area, and get rid of Barry or else they're gonna be screwed.

There's gonna be another story in the papers tomorrow I think, which says what Arsenal would have to offer for him, but not that they're interested. :lol: I don't think Arsenal will go after him tbh, he's not not the sort of player Wenger would pay for imo, well not at that age and price. I think he'd be good for Liverpool though, loads of Liverpool fans don't want him, but at the end of the day he was Rafa's #1 target for this summer, so regardless of the price if he gets his man we should be happy. :lol:

I dunno really. I really think Rafa's gonna alternate with about 3 different formations this year. Either way I still think there'll be quite a bit of rotation. I love Alonso as a player, but for the past 2 seasons he's really not been up to it. Defensively he's not as good as Barry either, and seeing as our new left-back is a wing-back, who attacks so much, we'll need Mascherano and Barry to alternate. That's another thing as well, both Alonso and Lucas aren't defensive midfielders (Lucas especially) so I guess it'd be good to have both Barry and Mascherano parter either of Lucas or Alonso.

Van Der Vaart is a cert to go to Madrid. They'll probably tie up the deal for Ronaldo too... will be a big loss for them though. Sneijer is hugely infulencial.

He's a really good player. I remember he was really highly rated when he played in Holland, and then he kinda went off the mark a little, and then moved to Hamburg. But he's really re-captured his form of late, and had a great Euro's tournament so it's so suprised Madrid are after him. I wouldn't be suprised if Hunntelar ended up going there either!
