I have been doing, I don't know much about what's going on mind. I've been following that Swimmer from USA (Phelps) to see if he can get his 8 medals. :o He's doing well so far.

What are you doing tomorrow? :o

He's mint. Miles better than Ian Thorpe who everyone used to say was well good in 2004. The relay was ace last night, he won it for USA by himself really. The badminton is the best at the Olympics. Or the canoeing.

I have to go get my exam results eek.

Yeah I was watching him in the relay and he seemed miles and miles ahead of everyone else tbh. I've been watching bits of the badminton actually, and I quite like the gymnastic events as well.

Ooooh, good luck! :D You'll probabaly be worrying now but have real good results haha, well hopefully anyway.

Gail Emms is mint in the badminton. My favourite player really. Gymnastics is cool as well, GBR are pretty poor at it though compared to most of the other countries haha.

I'm hoping I have good results, and I should do, but we'll just see.

Have you got them back Roo? What did you get? :o

I got,

A in English Language (well chuffed about that. coursework let me down though)

B in Media (coursework lets me down again gomggg)

C in History (well it's a C technically, but my teacher told me to count it as a B as i'm only 2 marks off a B and I f***ed up in one of my exams completely so I can resit it)

C in Geography (I was predicted an A for that too)

But i'm well chuffed overall.

Ahh pretty good overall, well done. :D I'm doing History as one of my options next year actualy, one of my fave subjects probably. Are you re-doing Geography or is a C alright?

Yeah i'm dropping Geography, so that's 40 UCAS points for me already which is good. History is a piece of p*** at GCSE, I got an A, should have got an A* really. It's so much different at A-Level though, is silly really, as you have to write your answers in a COMPLETELY different way. if you do well at it at GCSE and you enjoy it, i'd deffo reccomend you take it on to A-Level, but be prepared for have taken on a very hard subject!

Eeek don't say that. :( I like History.

That's what EVERYONE has said to be who has taken History. It's quite easy to do in GCSE but very hard to do after that. I was going to take Geography but I changed it to History at the last minute (as well as about 4 of my mates LOL) becayse we were told it was the better option to pick. :D I'm not looking forward to getting my French GSCE Result back next week though, I really need to get a C (because that's what I'm expected to get and I'd be very dissapointed if I didn't get that  ) and I don't know if I will or not.

I did both History and Geography at GCSE, History was much easier than Geography, but that might because i've never been the best at Geography really and for pretty much 2 years I just used to p*** about at the back of the class and have a great time, and I still managed to come out with a B grade in it haha. But yeah History is so hard at A-Level, but very interesting.

You'll be fine with GCSEs. If you can get a C now then you should be able to p*** over your GCSE exams in Year 11. If you don't get a C it's not the end of the world either. I only managed to get a C in German at Year 11, but then again even though I had 5 years worth of German classes I only count 3 of them as stuff I got taught as I learnt nothing in 2 years, when my teacher was off having her babies. I wanna say DON'T WORRY, but it's hypocritical of me, because I always worry with exam results. I was so nervous at GCSE like days before, but I was only really nervous in the morning today when I got my AS results. But yeah, you'll be fine mann, just don't think about it, and think about summer instead.

Thanks. :D I'm not really that nervous because with any luck they'll be as easy as the SAT's this year but I don't think they will be. But yeah, even if I don't get a C on this one I've still got the chance to re-do it and loads more to do so all is good!

The track and field starts in the Olympics today doesn't it? :o Really looking forward to watching it now actually haha, I was well into the Badminton earlier.

I can't remember my SATs... All I can remember is I messed them up MAJORLY and I still got into good sets for GCSE because the teachers knew I had just messed up in them. From what I remember GCSEs are harder than SATS. Problem with GCSEs is that you have a lot of exams in a short period of time, so you get stressed with what to revise... but it's nothing like at A-Level!!! You literally finish the A-Level course a week before your exams begin, then you have the whole modules to revise. Is well bad/

Yeah it does. I love Athletics. Although GBR will do pretty poor in it this year I reckon. I missed the badminton earlier, was probably an omen because I didn't watch it haha. I watched the basketball though. That was mint.

Ours SATs don't matter at all this year because for some reason we're set on our Mock resluts which I find a bit stupid tbh. And yeah I've heard there's lots of revision to be done so I'll have to get workinhg hard the next lot of years haha.

Do we even have anyone that's one of the favourites to win one of the athletic medals this year? I've read something about the Relay team but can't remember if it said they were any good or not. Badminton is absolutely ace but then they changed it over to the table-tennis which is actallu quite boring. Oh and I watched the Hockey as well which was quite good haha.

Eeek don't say that. :( I like History.

i liked History until GCSE  the coursework is p*** easy i got an A* and B but paper 1 of the exam is impossible becuase you have to remember loads of stuff, paper 2 is alright tho becuase its sources.

i was going to do it A Level aswell but after the exam i thought i wouldnt want to to go through it again so im switching subjects

That's well weird. My little sister's in the same year as you too, but i'm gonna guess she's not done too well in her SATs. You don't really have to work on revision until a few weeks before (well I didn't anyway). Depends how you revise, as everyone revises differently. Like with me for example, I can't revise wayyyy before the exam as I just forget it all.

We're the favourites to win the Heptathalon and the Triple Jump I think. And then we should maybe pick up a few bronzes in the relays, but apart from that we're not tipped to do very well on the athletics.

Yeah, it's like that full stop at A Level with remembering stuff. Maybe not so much for the source paper, as you can get a good mark on it even if you know f*** all (like me haha) but the other two papers are so f***in hard, and i'm not even joking about that... you've so little time and you've got so much to write. I think I finished both of the papers a few seconds before the time was up.

Cya Space! :D Have a good time.

I don't revise much at all, like forour French exam we didn't even need to revise because all our revision seemed to be lots and lots of old papers and basically the teacher going through it with us because she didn't want us to fail. Probabaly cheating but if it gets me a good mark I'm not to bothered haha.

I saw a few of our guys do okay at the 100m this morning but I went to bed before I saw anything else. That Bolt from Jamacia does look quite unstopable tbh, I can't see anyone beating him. Also one of our women were doing quite well in the Heptathlon but that's about all I saw.

And have a good holiday Space!

Jonny  Yeah was good, you had fun?
