"Four armed and dangerous gunmen are on the loose. The crooks stormed into the Kroger on Winchester And Hacks Cross Saturday. They stole money from Kroger’s cash registers and the First Tennessee Bank inside the store Saturday morning. One of the robbers shot a Kroger employee in the face.

 

 

A surveillance camera captured it all.

 

Four armed gunman stormed the Kroger. One robber stood guard. Two hopped the counters and emptied cash registers. Another hit up the First Tennessee Bank inside the store for cash. When it was all over, a Kroger employee had been shot in the face and customers were in shock.

 

Police think the gunmen are the same robbers who stormed a Tri-State Bank inside a Kroger on Airways and Lamar on April 21st. In both cases one of the gunmen was wearing a mask. It’s a replica of a mask worn by a member of the heavy metal band “Slipknot.†The FBI says very few of them have been sold in the Mid-South.
