Delta Goodrem cancels performance

 

Singer Delta Goodrem was required to pull out of a performance on Thursday due to poor health.

Delta Goodrem is on the comeback trail after a self imposed absence from the musical spotlight since the Commonwealth Games, when her previous single Together We Are One was released by public demand and made it to number two on the charts. Sporting a new look accompanied by a new single, Delta is back in full swing except for one small hiccup; being required to pull out of a performance due to poor health.

 

Goodrem was due to perform at 30 Days of Fashion, a launch event by ACP Magazines which was held at the Oxford Art Factory on Thursday. However the twenty-two year old pulled out of the performance due to contracting a cold.

 

Initial speculation suggested that Goodrem was required to pull out due to infected throat nodules, a claim denied by record company publicists.

 

Delta’s next single is called In This Life, and is released on 15 September.

Hope she feels better soon and I hope it' nothing too serious.

shouldnt take to long. you could tell from those interviews something was up. she said in the A Current Affairs one that she had been talking to much and thats why she could not sing for them or talk that well. hope her cold gets better

Yeah in the Enough Rope interview I thought she sounded a bit croaky - but thought that maybe that was just her voice now :lol: - kinda relieved it's just her cold/throat infection!!

I'm not surprised she cancelled what with all the talking she seems to have done recently.

 

Hope she gives it a bit of a rest before coming back with a bang!! :)
