Posted May 3, 200619 yr The Raconteurs - Steady, As She Goes A raconteur is by definition a deft storyteller and now a new story is unfolding. The seed was sewn in an attic in the middle of a hot summer when friends Brendan Benson and Jack White got together and wrote a song that truly inspired them. This song is new single 'Steady, As She Goes' and the initial inspiration led to the creation of The Raconteurs, along with Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler. A swaggering masterpiece of low and lazy rock 'n' roll, 'Steady, As She Goes', builds slowly to a melodic crescendo, accentuated by the contrasting vocals from White and Benson. 'Steady, As She Goes' is taken from The Raconteurs' debut album 'Broken Boy Soldiers'. - HMV track listing 1. Steady As She Goes Superb track.
