This weeks episode was absolutely great - best so far easily, classic Heroes.

I've got to say though, I think they're skating on very thin scientific ice. It's a good job everybody on Heroes is the same blood type to be giving transfusions here there and everywhere. And also, how was HRG meant to pump the blood around his body if he was dead? Just a couple of things that niggle me...

However the drama and action was really great. Now, I really want to know what some of the older generation's powers are. I thought we would get to see what Kaito does but probably not now...

It certainly was the best episode of the series so far... Things are really gaining momentum now, it's gonna be really bad when the show has its "hiatus" after ep 11.... :( I really hope they'll be able to keep the interest going for the second half of the series (whenever that's gonna be likely to air....).

I think Kaito's power was to do with his ability with a sword. Not sure though, but I definitely think Hiro will go back to the past to his Dad again at some point. Angela Petrelli has the power of persuasion I think. She convinced Nathan's wife to give Nathan some time alone very easily.

I think Heroes will be fine personally. It's building up speed now and the hype builds much like it did with Lost again. And unlike most TV shows Heroes will be able to have a problem season finale as they'll have tied up the majority of this volume. Volume 3 is called 'Exodus' if I remember rightly too.

Ooooooh that was a good episode!!

I'm still concerned how they're gonna wrap this up though, I get the feeling it's going to be very rushed. Also I just saw the promo for next week's finale :(

Yeah, the way they wrap things up is gonna seem a little weird I think. The stories with Mylar and the one with Mica and Monica don't really seem relevant.

This episode was a bit disappointing IMO, but it's a good lead up to the finale. I thought Claire and Elle were gonna have a fight though, they made it look like that in last week's trailers.

The trailer for next weeks episode really does worry me, and we all know how much Tim Kring likes death!

I've a feeling I know why they filmed the alternate ending with the strike now...:o

While this finale was shocking and absolutely one, if not, the best episode ever, it also had its bad moments. I mean, how they "killed" Maya and then resurrected her. What a load of bull. THEY EFFING KILLED NIKKI. She was one of my favorites of Season 1, and she shouldn't have gone. -_- I don't really care for Nathan's death, didn't really ever like him as a character. Peter destroying the virus was a bit anticlimactic, I don't really think it's fully destroyed, maybe it runs in him since the dust was still there. I'm really glad that Adam is six feet under alive, but there's still the option that he may be found since he won't ever give up screaming (well if he survives without eating/drinking). I feel that Mohinder is really a coward and he should have stopped Sylar, no matter if he would have died trying. I'm growing on the blond chick with the zap power (I forget her name :heehee: ). But I mean, it didn't really feel like a finale, in the sense that I thought it would be all shocking or whatever. Not really cliffhanger. We all knew that Sylar would be back, and Nathan's death wasn't really "shocking".

A long wait until September, if that's when "Vilains" starts.

DOUBLE EPISODE TOMORROW ON BBC2!!!!! 9PM!! they are showing, episodes 22 and 23! :w00t: cannot wait

OVER!

Well we can while it's o nhiatus till September for "Villains" Ther is a new TV show called Heroes:Origins, it's a spin-off really. BUT it's got 6 episodes, and each week they will introduce a new character (6 in total :heehee:) and then viewers (I think USA only) get to choose which of the 6 characters they like, and which one will be a PERMANENT role in Season 3 :o auditions are taking place now!

So if you're a budding actor/actress find out where they are holding the auditions and give yourself a shot! :P

Origins has been cancelled, well put on hold until next year most likely!

The alternate scene had to be the Sylar one. I think they Tim Kring borrowed that idea off X-Men 3 with Magneto at the end when he moves the chess piece after his powers been taken away from him (much like Sylar ey? :heehee: Infact it's almost asif the whole concept of this virus storyline was based on X-Men 3!)

"Villains" is an interesting title. I think there'll be more bad heroes that emerge but I don't think it'll be primarily just them as the villains. The Compant and the older generations will surely play a huge part in Volume 3 too. Mrs. Petrelli went to the lengths of having her own son shot (I don't think Nathan's dead, infact i'm positive he's not dead as they didn't say he was dead at the end!) so it really says something about The Company and we still don't know exactly WHAT they've done. I can see a Hiro, Matt, Peter Claire, Nathan etc. vs Mrs Petrelli, Bob, Noah, Mohinder etc. next series, and then all Sylar and everyone will be running about killing everyone. Adam can't be gone either surely? Anyone else get the idea that Peter, Hiro etc. might dig Adam up and blackmail him to help him bring down The Company as after all he's the one who knows the ins and outs of what they've done!

SPOILERS

None of the deaths are actually concrete, they would have been had there not being the strike but because of this it's given the production team something to "think" over.

Niki at this moment is dead, however the plan is for the producers to bring back Jessica instead which would kinda make sense because of the Volume 3 title Villans. :P

Nathan may or may not be dead, and it's up to the fans whether he's dead or not! If there's enough support for his cause then he'll survive the shooting. And next season there's going to be a big emphasis on who shot Nathan.

Well, I dont think Nathan is dead, things that dont end with a definite DEAD! usually mean that they are alive ;)

I think bringing Jessica back is a good idea and like Josh said, it links with the title "Villains". If they can resurrect Maya, then surely they can do the same with Niki/Jessica, or maybe they can only ressurect one of the personalities ;)

Also a short theory for the season is that, I think that there will be a new hero, who will turn evil with their powers and ressurect all the fallen villains. Yes, he/she has the power to bring back the dead. Adam will die, but he will be brought back, as will Niki, Linderman etc: All the dead villains of season 1+2 will be brought back in season 3. Hopefully ;)

Linderman won't be back, no way. He lost his brainw hen DL pulled it out so there's no way back now. :P And now the heroes can play God the only definite way someone can die is by losing their brain or being shot in the head. I don't like the fact they can keep killing characters off and bringing them back to life, kinda takes the element of death away from the show as you know the character will be brought back to life, well, as long as they're a good hero.

Adam will definitely be back there's no question about that. If he was gonna die then they'd have had Hiro kill him, but instead they left him alive. Next season he's gonna team up with Sylar methinks, only like Adam used Peter, Sylar will use Adam and then we all know what will happen to Adam at the end of his and Sylar's friendship!

am i the only one that was a bit disappointed with the big battle? i was expecting some big bangs and blood. you know massive battle for a massive villain. the way they killed Sylar was just WAY too easy so its not surprising he is still alive.

in the sneak peak on that BBC 3, how come Nathan is alive and yet Peter isnt :puzzled: i swear Peter can regenerate....

I'm glad Maya didn't die, I actually quite like her character. I think had the season been able to run it's full course, Maya's powers would have been really significant like Ted's were last season.

Did anyone else think this episode was full of jokes...it's never usually, but there were loads of funny bits like Matt riding Nathan

And I think Nathan might actually be dead this time.

Im so confused. Who is talking about series 2 and who is talking about series 1 cos like i dont know who this Maya person is :???:

Maya's power was really good, but I just didn't care about her character. She didn't seem to do much apart from cry, and I don't know where they can go with her character now as she's learned to control her powers, her brother's dead and Sylar's gone.

I still wanna know about The Company though. I was watching parts of it again last night and when Adam was getting the virus, did anyone see some of the other objects on show? There was a brain (why would The Company have a brain locked up in a vault never to be opened?) and there were 3 playing cards too (again why would they have some cards locked up in a vault?) and there were some other things locked up too that were unusual too.
