Showadywady were special guests on CBBC's very own variety show The Slammer this morning.

 

i dont know what they were doing on children's tv at 7.30 in the morning cant answer that (though 'Den Perry' did get away with the those shoes are a bit crepe joke :lol:) however looking at their chart discography and seeing all the big hits they had esp at the end of the 1970s. dont you think that the music press have ben lying to you? saying it was all punk punk punk revolution when really it was mostly stuff like this type of 50s revival getting high up the charts. i bet, even though waterstone's shelves groans under the weight of punk books theorizing the late 1970s era, i'm guessing outside a few big cities suburbia was rocking to this kinda tune???
