September 4, 200717 yr I really liked the first Liberty X album, 2nd one was not as good but 1st one was better than Spice Girls, Girls Aloud and so on Got To Have Your Love was brilliant although not quite as good as the Mantronix original
September 4, 200717 yr Author Yep, the first one was amazing, hardly a single c**p track on it :o I've recently gotten back into ''Song 4 Lovers'', amazing
September 4, 200717 yr i rated them.... unusually i liked their cover of mantronix 'gotta have your love', and the very intelligent use of samples with richard x on 'being nobody', a marriage of 2 80's tracks (human league 'being boiled', chaka kahn 'aint nobody')
September 4, 200717 yr There were rumours of a GH and rarities album a little while back but Kevin recently confirmed on myspace it wont happen.
September 4, 200717 yr Coincidence this was posted today, because in the paper today there was a little bit about Liberty X. Apparently they cried at their "final performance". The report ended with "Another manufactured band bites the dust".
September 4, 200717 yr Song 4 Lovers and X were great songs :D Not surprising they quite the business though, mixed pop bands are dated.
September 4, 200717 yr I really loved them too, I played their first album over and over so much when I bought it that I'm still kinda bored of it today  All of their singles are class, though I didn't think much of 'X'.
September 4, 200717 yr Song 4 Lovers and X were great songs :D Not surprising they quite the business though, mixed pop bands are dated. Try telling that to Dance X! Sadly though, I suspect you may be right...
September 4, 200717 yr RIP Liberty X, can only hope Girls Aloud take the hint. <_< I'll forget you said that
September 4, 200717 yr They were quite an interesting band tbh - a more street version of Hearsay and actually turned down record deals to have them releasing any old c**p as soon as the show was over so they could take time to develop their own sound. They are one of the longest running reality tv acts [not that's that saying anything obv]. I rated a lot of their stuff highly inc Holdin On For You, Being Nobody, Jumpin and Song For Lovers. I really wasn't that fascinated by Just A Little though
September 5, 200717 yr Thinking It Over was actually a decent garage song. What was their single after (or before) that, that isnt here? They were known as just Liberty in 2001.
September 5, 200717 yr Doin' It came after that Skizzo I found Liberty/X to be a very hit and miss band I bought three of their singles (Thinking It Over, Song 4 Lovers, Got To Have Your Love) but I wouldn't have wanted an album from them
September 5, 200717 yr I read somewhere they were going to release a greatest hits with a handful of new songs..hope its true. Their first album was excellent but unfortunately the follow ups werent so well received.
