Posted September 7, 200717 yr Jamelia has admitted she doesn't think she stands a chance of winning Best Female at the Mobos. The 26-year-old songstress, who will host the glamorous bash on September 19 with Shaggy, said: "I'm absolutely flattered, but I think they felt they had to nominate me for one of them because I'm presenting." But she added that she was excited about presenting. "For me it's a real show of what I've achieved over the last 10 years. Seven or eight years ago I first attended the Mobos and to have advanced to the position where I can actually present it is a fantastic achievement and I'm very proud," she said. Mum-of-two Jamelia, who recently launched Model.Me, a range of personalised haircare products for Toni &Guy, is also set to release her best hits album Superstar - The Hits on September 24. She said the songs were full of memories for her. "Being in this industry, it's such a whirlwind, you never ever stop, so to have a greatest hits album and actually be able to listen to it, you realise 'oh my god I've done this much'. "Each song is representative of a certain time in my life and you think 'oh yeah I remember when I did this'. Ten years is a long time to stick at anything so I feel really fortunate and I'm really proud of it," she added. Model.Me is available from Boots from September 12, priced from £5.99.
