She shot 2 at the same time because Europe is getting Maneater and the USA & Canada is getting Promiscuous

Ahhh. ^_^

Does anyone know how well her previous 2 albums sold in the UK?

Hmm, the song doesn't show her voice for how good it really is and I found it irritated me by the end of it, but it's still quite catchy and I can see it doing well.

I like the video a lot. :D

I have been so caught up with Maneater I haven't even bothered with Promiscuous.

*woot* I love both the songs but Maneater is my favourite, will be so fabulous when it gets released!

As for how well her last two albums sold in the UK -

Whoa, Nelly! sold 600,000 copies and Folklore sold 100,000 copies. Or something like that anyway.

Hmm, I seem to be in a minority here, I think it's the worst thing she's ever done, what a cop out.

Thanks for that.

Well im not liking it at all.

She's gone for the Hip Hop direction i see.

Both songs and hideous, though the video's are ok.

Not even a million in the UK yet. :o I thought Whoa! Nelly would have sold more than that too. :o

Maybe this album can push her to the million mark. -_-

OMFG The more i hear these two songs the worse they get.

:puke:

Dire,what has she done.

I thought you would have liked it Conor?
2 great songs and from what I've heard the album is gonna be great too. I can't wait to hear Te Busque with Juanes and I am loving No Hay Igual.
It just seems such a transformation from Try to Maneater, if you watch one after the other, you wouldn't guess it was the same person. :o

This isn't the first time she's done hip hop though, she did that remix with Missy Elliot. Also, it seems such a drastic transition because her last album was folk influenced but some of the tracks off Whoa Nelly were hip hop influenced and she said in an interview that hip hop is the music she grew up to and what she was into at that time and she's glad to have an oppurtunity to make the music she loves.

I fully support this musical transition because one thing has remained the same - great music before - great music after!!!

Oh I completely agree about the quality of music, high standard as always, and I like the reinvention, I was just pointing out that she is so different in the Try video, however it shows diversity. ^_^

Yeah I know :D I just get angry when people start slagging her off because she changed her style of music - no dig at you!

why has she already made the promiscuous girl video?

its the first release in america.
