While I was watching last night - I had Britney's 2000 performance playing on youtube, and the contrast was just too sad
September 10, 200717 yr well first of all I miss VMA 1998-2003...common now its nothing like it was before...the stage so small and stars sitting on chair like they have a menu in hand and ordering a food...and secondly BRITNEY was lost...dont know why though...but I kinda liked that when Gimme More started people screamed lol...that means they like a song and her.

September 10, 200717 yr I turned on the news this morning and she was already being talked about. :lol: Press in the Uk have already started slating her, but it goes both ways. The miming was awful, it wouldnt of hurt to of sung live, but can you really blame her? After everything she's been through and then thrown on stage. Although she looked bored and the dancing wasnt that great to. BUT BUT BUT, I was listening to this American Guy who was saying, "She looked bad, awful, she was fat!" and In my honest opinion, I think her figure looked HOT. YES she had a bit of meat on her, but thats what made her look fit, maybe it's because we're all use to watching stick insects making the headlines lately. :(

September 10, 200717 yr i just watched the performance... i'm totally disappointed... i was hoping to see something amazing,totally different,and hot britney... but what i saw was britney trying to dance,and trying to lip-sync... there was nothing special about the performance. :(

I think i might have actually worked it out :lol: Criss Angel obviously was involved in the Entrance of the performance imo, because no-one on this earth, could perform as bad as she does at the beginning. He obviously has dropped her in it at the last minute, as confirmed he did. And its left her with f*** all to do with the start. It does get better, and the dancing in the last 2 minutes isnt bad at all really.
September 10, 200717 yr i've just watched the performance and heres what i think about it i didnt think it was a good performance, it wasnt awful, but it wasnt brilliant either. she looked like she had way too much on her mind and just wanted to be somewhere else. she was probably really really nervous about doing such a big perfomance and knew that even if it was perfect, so many people would find something that was wrong with it. The miming was bad, i'm over the fact that she mimes now, in my mind she is an entertainer, not a singer, but she should try her best to mine good. shes probably lost so much confidence with everything thats been going on in her life, and it'll probably take her a long long time til shes feeling 100% better again.

September 11, 200717 yr There were certain points where she got into the performance, but yeah, there were others that were pretty embarassing to watch. :( I feel really bad for her right now though since she's probably still feeling like $h!t about it. She'll just have to move on and get through it though. I'm sure she knows what to do better next time too.
September 11, 200717 yr It's actually kind of weird, cause I know she didn't want to be there but I don't think the performance was the disaster everyone claims it to be. And also, this performance made me love the song even more for some reason!
