Reportedly, Criss cancelled his performance with Britney at the last minute, so she had to redo everything starting last night. Which included taking out the opening and the close.

You guys I just got some leaked information from someone close to the MTV Studios.

 

Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel... but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do.

 

Supposidly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms Hotel/Casino... the hotel flipped.

 

Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn't support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being "too controversial" during the performance. Britney and Chris were infact furious with MTV's sad excuse and told Britney to change the performance at the last minute.

 

Britney's original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air... and for much mature dancing.

sorry but its not his fault. I felt that she didnt give a damn about being there or giving her best. The Britney I knew would've still kicked ass with or without the magician, just for the fact she had stage presence and danced her ass off. Apparently she was partying and drinking the night before until 3am, obviously she had a hangover today.

I agree with you, but you also have to think about all the things she is going trough with a custody battle, her having family issues and trying to fit in a comeback, seriously.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering what was up with the performance... and at first I was really embarassed for her. Once I watched it again I didn't think it was that bad especially comparing it to the rest of the show. I guess you also have to consider the circumstances of having to change the performance really quick.

I agree with you, though - she wasn't into it. I just don't think it was ALL her fault.

 

 

 

Everyone seems to have beef with the outfit aswell? Clearly it was an homage to the Cell Block Tango scene from Chicago, and she was mimicing the costumes from that. People need to get over that.

And when you say she "didn't confirm it", do you mean make it public knowledge or tell MTV themselves, because I'm pretty sure she has to get the go ahead from MTV before she can even put together the whole thing. Same with other artists.

They had Kanye West performing the opener, and they moved him back on the last moment MTV and Kanye both admitted that. I don't mean to sound rude but you have to understand that this is a VERY Stressful time for me :rofl:

I'm sure MTV is happy with the publicity their stupid low-rating boring awards show is getting. :rolleyes:

That's too bad..no wonder she looked lost since her routine had to be redone. :(
