Liars stay on top of the pile for the second week with their raucous single which has seemed to disappear from view everywhere else. I don't care I love it! Peter, Bjorn and John move up one with their insanely catchy Young Folks which includes some of the best whistling in a song for ages. The Sounds move up to #3 while the highest new entry comes in at #5. Illegal Attacks is a scything attack on the situation in Iraq and features Sinead O'Connor in a string laden protest song for the noughties. The other new entry comes at #10 as The Hives return with their first single since the rather disappointing Tyrannosaurus Hives.
