This fan kind of has a point, but maybe we fans are only trying to find an excuse. Anyways, I thought it'd be nice to share this vid with you all ^_^

she should've put in a lot more effort into this comeback of hers,and took it more seriously.

Well, it at least puts the heel thing into perspective. You can't just blame it all on her and not wanting to be there.

:lol: That was both funny and obsessive.

 

Sure the heel might have started her problem, but she should have been a professional about it. I realize she's not performed for ages, but still.

Well I think it does highlight the fact that her heels is broke and that contributed to the overall quality of the performance. However, a broken heel doesn't make up for the fact that she looks bored and that there wasn't much to the routine (Criss Angel dropped her in it etc. I know ;) ).

 

Some of the video is just complete rubbish though. :lol: I've watched it a few times now and when she steps on the dancers back to get of the stage and it says she tripped, that's rubbish! She didn't trip at all getting off the stage. :blink:

 

Also, that bit about it not being great because she was trying to stop herself from snapping her ankle is rubbish, like I said at the top of this post the heel is one thing, her vacant expression is another, she simply didn't have the spark that all of her other VMA performances had.

 

She'll pull it together at some point, but until then I will be satisfied with Gimme More being #1. :heart:

I loved Christina's comeback performance at last years Movie Awards when she did Aint No other Man! It was pure class, Britney just embarrases me!

Tbh she's made a HUGE mistake making a comeback so early.

She has not even had time to start sorting her life out but obviously felt she needed to give fans new music etc, but at the same time being

in the public eye again has probably pushed her right to edge as every news channel etc wants to know about her life again and every performance

she does is expected to be 'perfect', so no wonder she screwed up her performance because of all the pressure.

But its not like she can just drop the project and sort her life out now.

Obviously 'Gimme More' is going to be a massive hit for her no matter how much bad press she gets, but if she wants to be 'happy' and back to the 'old britney' shes going to have to make a lot more effort than she did before.

As for the views on her weight, ffs its like everyone has to be a size 0 to be deemed 'attractive' by the media.

I really hope she can sort herself out, but tbh i think shes just about had enough now.

Looking back at it, she really looked great when she danced, she did it well. She looked like the REAL Britney here and there, but on her way to those moves she didn't entertain like she usually does. I actually like the performance looking back at it, but it was no where near her usual standard.

Maybe she just wasn't ready this time around. There will be a next time.
