Pieces Of A Dream

 

I know loads of people will want to shoot me now. But I don't care. This song means the world to me.

This was the second single taken from Ana's Greatest Hits album, also titled 'Pieces Of A Dream'.

It had some succes in the countries it was released. It peaked the Greek charts, and was top 10 in Holland and Italy. It was top 30 in most countries where it got released.

This song could be titled as 'strange' and 'weird' as the lyrics and the song are 'pieces of a dream', and it's supposed to be weird.

This song is pretty dark and has a rock edge to it. The lyrics are about a dream you could say. About seeing things that aren't there, wishing to see someone and it's just not happening. Terribly sad song.

This song got mixed reviews. Some saying it was her best song to date, others finding it too boring and too much like previous songs. That would be bull$h!t. I think we all know why. Ana uses another type of voice in this. Her more rock vocals, while she usually uses her soul/funky vocals. Anyhow.. The vid to this song has got to be her best. It shows a naked man :kink: , that makes it worth watching :lol: Just kidding. The video is amazing. It is all black and white, showing 'pieces of a dream' and how Anastacia looses her mind in some psycho clinic. Great piece of acting. It's really touching to see her that way. This is my fave vid ever :wub:

What makes this song better than it is, is putting your computer headphones on, and turning them all the way up listening to this.

Amazing song, amazing lyrics, some great vocals. To make a long story short, my #7.

I hated the song at first, but I've really grown to it. At first I didn't like it because of vocals where all weird and different, like there was no edge, but I still like it.
