Wow! It is sooooooo good to get back to the humdrum. I am so happy to be back on buzzjack.

How do people feel about the way artists forums are now displayed? I feel that this, along with being deleted from the front page, gives me a really bad feeling. really

I was pleasantly suprised, I found the Darius forum was the only one displayed in the optional artists display,

It's a shame about the Golden Globes being cancelled (hopefully the Oscars won't be!!) as we usually get to see photos of D and Natasha attending some of the relative parties!! Maybe the parties will still go ahead!!...... :D

I can understand that admin want to save space and tidy up the Main Page - hopefully new people will click on to 'View All Artist Forums' first and then decide which ones they want to keep on their personal main page. I would like to know who our 48 members are!? :D It would be lovely to see that number rise!! :dance:

There are 13 Forums with less members than us (I've just been through the list - sad aren't I!! :rolleyes: :D ) and the Forums that always come near to the top of the League every week have twice as many members as us, so we don't really do badly do we!! :D

I don't know what the front page looks like. I never bother with it. If there was a direct link to here then I might read some things and follow other links before coming here via the main page, but without that I've no reason to make the detour.

I don't mean the 'Homepage' I mean the front page with all the forums listed where you get the option to click on 'View all the Optional Artist Forums' - I've only just found out how to become a member of a forum and I notice that our membership has gone up by 2 since this afternoon!! :D Isn't this exciting stuff!!! :lol:

How do they work out the membership of each forum? I only became a member of buzzjack. I wasn't asked to opt for membership of any named forum.

 

If I add another AF to my menu list, am I then a "member" of that AF when all I might do is occasionally read there?

I'm sorry BT, I'm just confusing everyone with my ignorance!!! I've just noticed that the page with the Forums listed has the title 'Homepage' at the top so that is the page where you can click 'View all Artist Forums'!!! :rolleyes:

 

To actually be counted as a member of an Artist Forum you have to go into 'Your Chosen Forums' and change the small box beside the names from red to green. Those Artists will be the only ones to show on your 'Homepage' in the future unless you choose to add more. I wasn't a member of any Artist Forum until 10 minutes ago!! :D (So if you have already done that, then, yes, you will be a member of those Forums. :) )

Thanks Julia I hadnt got a clue you had to go and change the colour to become a member of Daruis AF :blink:

Where does it show number of members?

I can't see it :( ...................... just found it at the top of this page :D 52 members

All the tiome I've been here and I'm probably not a member. That's life.

well I hope you are now - I only have the darius forum box green, so its the only one I see on the home page, if I am not logged in I see them all, and have to wade through to find darius on that huge list,

It was fairly easy in the past to find again when I'd been logged out, because they were listed alphabetically. Now it just looks like a jumble to me.

I know, I couldnt find it until I really looked! I have no idea what sort of order they have the forums in .

Perhaps the order in which they were created?
