Just wanted to say I'm glad some judge has seen sense and jailed Pete Doherty. It was getting ridiculous. it was like he was above the law. It sent a very bad message about drugs.

 

Maybe he'll be able to get clean and concentrate on his music when he comes out.

I just wish they wouldn't glamourise drugs. Watching people die from using them is so useless.

thank god someone has jailed the twit. I am fed up with seeing him and Amy all over the place - the press glamorise them in an dout of rehab and court as if its great., yet the real hard hitting facts - the Mark Spate thing just one example, are brushed over.

Wouldn't it be lovely if they did the original cast album - and it also had all the missed of songs on it?

I'm not sure it will sell that well if the only songs people seem to think are any good are the duet ( Rhett/Scarlett), the title song (Scarlett) and the song by the slaves. Some liked Mammy's song too.

 

 

It isn't like a concedrt though. The songs are just part of the play. I do reckon there should be a few more Darius ones though.

I wish Darius would make some of his music available, perhaps an EP, if the album isn't near enough completion.

 

Other stars of similar shows seem to get the opportunity to have their latest on sale at the merchandise booth.

It would have to be impossible for him to get the album out for it not to come out.

 

I can see why the cast reciording wasn't done. I'm beginning to wonder how many numbers will be left by the time it opens.

How many songs were there approx. in the second preview? Can you remember what scenes had songs?

 

I can't. It's more like, when I'm watching, I'm aware of what should have been there.

That must be a bit offputting. Imagine what it must be like for the cast.

 

I think I read once that they rehearse new bits in the morning but they don't actually implement them until the following night's show.

If I were them, I'd hate a bit of my part to get chopped. I really hate a bit of Darius part being chopped.

I'd want just Rhett and Scarlett and puppets for the other characters

 

Actually the Muppets would be brilliant.

I prefer the cast they have. BT, they really are very good. It's all that narrative that's slowing it down - and we don't know what will have been done with that by the end of the previews.
