I'm getting logged off here all the time today. I'm really fed up. I don't want to be a guest. I'm a member! I even changed my password.
It's been happening every single time today. I must've clicked on something I shouldn't have, I think.

It happens to me about once a week. I can't think why you are not being remembered. You are ticking the box to be remembered aren't you? I know you would be but, it's all I can think off.
dear, I had a bit of road rage directed at me on the school run! a police car was just coming up opposite us on its own side of the road, flashing lights, no obstructions on its side we are on a 40 mile an hour road doing just that then the jag in front suddenly stepped hard on the brake pulled over without indicating into a turn off, then swung its nose back out again into the main road..I was following but wouldnt have had a hope in hell of braking in time!! so had to go round it and carry on.at that the woman driver roared up behind me on my tail gesturing and flashing..LOL.. now I was always taught that you dont make sudden moves driving if the emergency services are coming..you just move over to the kerb and maybe slow or pul over if they need to get through! her actions were totally over the top and so sudden that she was to my way of thinking the one driving dangerously..

It was probably panic, then she was upset that you didn't. I've always done the same as you - more accidents would slow down emergancy services rather than speed them up. How you would have behaved is the recommended way. It's upsetting, first thing in the morning especially when she didn't need to do anythng as she wasn't obstructing the vehicle.

We have a sitting service. Someone actually came around today. Dave and I get 2hrs to go out for lunch one day every week while one of their sitters stays with Dad. We're really looking forward to it.
That's great! Even a couple of hours will give you a chance to just enjoy chatting, without fear of upsetting anyone or trifling interruptions.

We've always had to 'date' just to get time away from the kids and just be together. With Dad, it's something we really missed as we can't easily find someone who can watch him. You can't just leave someone who doesn't know what they are up against, so this is just so nice.
Glad you have the chance for a bit of a break each day Meg.

yes, it is amazing how relaxing it is to have a burden lifted, even for a short time. I remember after my second baby, and being ill, I had a helper who used to come in once a week for a while, she helped with chores and took my eldest for a while.

the burden being the responsiblity,..not the person

I think it's the person in our case and just being tied to the house. Why stop at Paris, BT? We haven't had a holiday together for 4 years, They may as well lose us somewhere many more miles away.
No point going to Los Angeles, Darius will be in London.
