I was going to ask if anyone had any tips for getting the pan back to its former condition. It's a fair quality stainless steel. I'm soaking it in salt and a dissolved dishwasher tablet atm.

I got one of the free newspapers i London and they had a quizz. One of the questions was who did Darius Danesh replace in PI. It was accompanied by one of the worse pics of D I've seen - obviously from the first run of 'Chicago'

I always use washing powder....put a tablet in the pan with warm water and leave over night.

I seem to be suffering from lots of niggly little things just now. I'm re-washing my washloads because the rope stretched and as I tried to sort it, it snapped completely.

 

I've had that happen. It's really annoying. I've also managed to trip and drop the whole lot before now.

I really liked that - I could have done with more Darius and less Des though.

I just came on to find that clip on .net..but its not there..I am desperate to see Darius on the Des show, as these lot are so bad!!LOL..these Elvis are awful, just cringeworthy, I was recalling just how fanastic D was when he started singing in that gold suit, and the reception he got!!! he wiped the floor with these so called elvis's..and he wasnt even trying

That's probably why. Elvis wasn't how the media show him, neither is Darius.

I did watch the elvis show tonite and admittedly they werent a patch on D but there was one I think from norway who looked uncanningly like elvis but I didnt hear him sing as was getting ready to go out and babysit. However he got to the final next week. A number of them sounded like elvis but didnt look remotely like him.

a lot sounded like elvis..or should I say how we think of elvis, .. so probably our ears are accustomed to the soundalikes! Elvis seemed such a cliche to me, his moves, his voice - seems most men can put on that voice..made me laugh wtching them pout and pose, egos puffed up..bet they feel they are every bit as good as Elvis in their minds.

I like early Elvis stuff. I'm not really interested in copycat things.
