I think I'd keep the dog - I could do the walks really well if I didn't have to be sitting at home.

The Nutcracker .I've seen it a few times but this production was very different e.g the Sugar Plum Fairy was danced by the females from the corps de ballet. Just about everybody except Clara wore a half face mask at some stage. Fantasy animal characters drifted ina nd out of the dream sequences.

It was a very young company from Siberia and they were such beautiful dancers, the audience was spellbound. There was none of the coughing, rustling.whispering - you know usual audience noises although as always, there was a good proportion of children in that audience.

well I was asked and I am not old, and they didnt ask about children till the actual men turned up - round here its for anyone conerned about fire, worth asking
That's what is so strange................ I'm not a fan of lengthy dance routines on stage ( unless of course they involve Darius), but I love the spectacle of the ballet, perhaps because it is telling a story.

I'm hoping the medinite is going to help me sleep tonight. I kept telling Dave he needn't share his cold but he just had to be too generous.

Hope the medinite is working Meg and that you are sleeping soundly (or should that be soundlessly).

Hope you managed to sleep as well BT

I'd rather have a cold now than in April. It wouldn't surprise me if I ended up with one in April as well. I get very few colds normally.

I did. I slept and slept.

I felt as if one side of my chest was blocked up last night and I was coughing all the time trying to clear it. I couldn't see any sign of infection but I took honey, lemon juice and hot water before I went to bed and I seem fine today.
