She's much better now she's here. The funeral looks set to be next Wednesday. They'll confirm tomorrow. I knew she wouldn't be well at home on her own. Having Dave's Dad here just makes it so much harder to stop away overnight.
At least she's with you now and not hundreds of miles away. Must be awful having such a long wait for the funeral. I'm glad we didn't have that when my mother-in-law died. Her funeral was less than 48 hours after she died.
When it's someone so close, I always find that I'm OK before and at the funeral and it's only afterwards it all hits home for me.

That's because you come to terms with their loss. The mourning really starts when everything is over and final. It's hard not to have them on this earth anymore.
