Please can someone vote in No More thread

If nobody does soon, I'm going to have to work out how to progress the the thread by making some kind of minor adjustment to the rules.

 

 

I knew we'd find it tougher as we went through.

We couldn't walk in a straight line, the wind just held you if you tried to walk into it. Dane hated the hailstones, combined with wind and rain, they were really painful. He got a good rubbing down. I should have had a hot bath as my legs still feel cold.

We were supposed to get dreadful weather starting overnight and so far, touch wood, we've just had normal wind and rain.

 

It looks horrendous on the news snippets I've seen. I hope everyone here is fine and your home, family and friends too.

One of my old granny's sayings came back to me while I was watching the TV coverage

 

"In like the lion and out like the lamb"

 

I think that referred to March.

 

Has anyone else ever heard that saying?

I've heard it for April as well - who knows which was the original. I can't imafgine Leo Darius as a lamb though.

He's cute at times but never a lamb. i think one magazine did animal lookalikes at onetime and Darius was a Bambi.

Big brown eyes. Grows into a large stag.

I thought it was for March....in like a lion out like a lamb.....but that's only if it starts bad....otherwise it's reversed

 

April sould be warm, calm and spring-like...with flowers and butterflies, frisky lambs, birds building nests....and
