No, mine was developed by a mother with a sweet tooth. She'd still choose a dessert over a main meal. I'd just be sick - I'd like both or just the main meal if only one was available. I love roasts, mainly becaused of all the vegetables you can have with them - or veg with grated cheese, that's lovely. Can you tell I'm preparing to go cook people's lunches?

I love all of those and I love lots of savoury starters but given the choice without artificial mental restraint, I'd plump for main meal and dessert every time.

Me too. In the Independant today there's a 'whwere are they now' peice. Darius is mentioned - no insults but, no mention of 'Chicago', 'Guys and Dolls' or 'Gone With The Wind'. You'd have thought they'd try and find out what people WERE doning for that kind of article.

Thanks, megham.

Stupid ignorance..........lazy journalism. Both? It's irrelevant.

We know how far Darius has come. He's a star.

I just wish that olthers would give him credit as well. It was as if he no longer existed
I feel more sure than ever that a good serving of humble pie is coming up and we're not the ones who'll be strugging to swallow it.

I've just seen that 'We Will Rock You' will be closing on the 7th October. I didn't know that was going to happen. I was only looking because Jeff Shankley used to be in it.

I've just come up with another one on google that says it's closing 2006. I think I'll ignore them all.
I've never seen WWRY and I don't think I'd bother if it came here on tour. I'd rather get a Queen ( with Freddy) DVD.
Having seen Queen live nothing else could compete

The music is a good tribute but, for me, the trying to put it in a story ruins it.

I hope you don't mind me telling you on here but my dad died on Friday,

he was a good age he was 89 but the last few months didn't have any quality of life so I know he is happy now.

It would have been mum and dads 50th anniversary yesterday so they have had a good time together.

Darius Dreamer, I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I know your Dad would not have wanted you to be

unhappy, but that doesn't really help. Try to remember the good times. Your Mum is going to need a lot

of support over the next few months....I hope she lives near to you.....shared grief is easier to bear than

being alone with her memories.

DD, that's such a shame - I've said many times, we're never ready for death but, sometimes we can see that living in that condition would be worse. I hope you and yours are coping and send you all my best wishes.

DD, I'm very sorry to hear the sad news about your father. Still a shock even if he did live to a good age and had little quality of life in the last few months.

Hugs to you and remember the good times.

My thoughts are with you all, dariusdreamer.

You have a lovely family and I'm sure they will be a great support for you and your Mum at this sad time.
