Have just been back to check again, just in case my eyes were playing me up, but, why has the 'Darius Danesh Forum' disappeared from the list on the front page. Can PIP contact someone?

Julie

Had a great time at the Top Gear filming though my back is aching after standing for four hours. The banter is non-stop even off camera and a lot has to be edited out because it is too rude for prime-time tv but very funny for the audience watching. Helen Mirren was the celeb guest and she came across well.

It was very different to the various Darius things I've been to. Everyone stands, moves around and half way through is a break which gave time for autographs and photos plus they provided tea, biscuits and crisps.

It is being shown on Sunday at 8pm. I think I may be in a couple of shots at the end (not sure).

Hello Nina :hi:

Just to say that I saw you on Top Gear last night (Neil's favourite show!! :D ) peering over James' right shoulder during the last couple of minutes of the show! - Not quite as much impact as you made on 'The Wright Stuff' (you brave lady!! ) but another TV appearance to your credit!! :cheer: It sounds like you had a really good time - I'm glad you enjoyed it. I would love to meet Helen Mirren - did you get the chance to have a chat to her?

I forgot to watch - between Dave'sDad playing up and him arriving back waiting to be fed at 8:30, I just forgot.

Wow, Julie. I didn't think anyone would notice me. It was such a fleeting glimpse at the end. My hubby and daughter could also be seen. We had a great time there. The banter between Clarkson and Hammond was non-stop and what couldn't be shown on screen was even funnier than what could.

We didn't have a chance to talk to Helen Mirren though I did manage to get photos of the three men and Richard Hammond's autograph for my younger daughter.

I've put in a request to know why insite communications. I misspelt forum but that's my fingers for you.

Hope you are feelimg better now, Meg.

And Baytree, I hope your sister-in-law is still improving.

I was looking out, but I think I had to go and sort youngest out and missed the end! dont know hat Hammond is up to..I reckon that accident has gone to his head, trying to look the sex symbol these days, looks a bit odd really.

I enjoy the challenges the best with the three of them out on the road..I still recall the caravan trip, that was so funny!

I think that's the story of my life - films, programs, anything I watch, there are always gaps I didn't manage to see.

Do you think he enjoyed the publicity following the accident so much that he's trying to

regenerate it, rather than return to being the one pushed into the background ?

I am not sure if thats it, it could be mid life crisis..a brush with death made him want to relive his youth! he was introduicng some accident and emergency program I saw recently, and I noted the new hairstyle and image. I like that May chap..he makes me laugh although his hair is starting to verge on the hilda bracket...

'Top Gear' is being repeated this evening, 7.00pm-8.00pm on B.B.C.2 if anyone

wants to see Nina 'peering over James's right shoulder' in the last couple of

minutes of the show [ according to Julie].

We got this answer to Julia W's query about why Darius had been removed from the front page. I don't suppose any of us like it but, I think we know that's the way it goes.

hi meg,

Sometime ago it was became known that the front page had more links then made sense. In short, some search engines (like Google) think that homepage sites with many links are low quality and quite possibly we where close or over that limit. So since that point no more links got added as new forums got created.

Recently we wanted to add links to highlight the chart chat and personal chart area, but to do so some decision had to be made on what forum to list or not at this time.

I did some checking on which forums are most searched for globally, which ones most found listed by buzzjack and which ones are click on in search engines.

I guess it don't matter to you, but from a visitor point or view.... If you check search terms into Google like enter 'Darius Danesh Forum' or even 'Darius Forum' you will noticed we are listed top or very high.

So with with those checks the priority left Darius was at the bottom as was Scissor Sisters and a new high was Spice Girls that was not previously listed. So I made the decision to removed Darius from the homepage at this time and others.

Ultimately though it's going to be an ongoing problem(which to add or remove) so I'm now thinking of another page off the home page which will list all the Artists forums.

Sorry for the inconvenience if your a person that started on http://www.buzzjack.com and then clicked Darius(sounds like this was your routine). The same problem had existed for all the newer artist forums. As soon as the title of new darius album title is known let me know and I'll add Darius and remove someone else.

I hate us not being acknowledged on the front page but I'm not surprised.

Thanks Meg.....I think I understand what is being said, and I suppose, under those circumstances, the situation is fair enough!! :)

I read somewhere that there are now 61 artist forums and only 43 are listed on the front page at the moment, so it does not only apply to Darius (which I originally thought was the case!! ) Hopefully, when things start to happen with D's new music, the situation will be reviewed.

It does mean that our views will have gone down - which is a pest. We know have an 'Animal Farm' situation - all our forums are equal but some are more equal than others.
