Supermodel Erin O’Connor and singing sensation Jamelia returned to their roots to launch their new hair care range in the West Midlands - and the girls were in a fit of giggles as they posed for photos.

 

But Jamelia had more to smile about than just her new beauty venture, as she revealed a reconciliation was on the cards with ex-boyfriend Darren Byfield.

 

Jamelia and former Walsall footballer Byfield, who have a daughter Tiani, broke up last month after three years together.

 

But the singer, who has recently moved back home to Birmingham, told the Express & Star the couple were hopeful of getting back together.

 

“We miss each other very much and are trying to work things out,” the 26-year-old pop star said.

 

“We are working towards a reconciliation,” she said.

 

Jamelia, of Edgbaston, and Erin, from Brownhills, teamed up with supermodel Helena Christensen and hairdressers Toni & Guy to create the new designer collection, called Model.Me.

Jamelia and Darren back together?

 

Popstar Jamelia and her former lover Darren Byfield are back together, say reports.

 

It was reported earlier this week that the 'Superstar' singer was looking to reconcile her differences with the Bristol City football player and it has now been claimed that the couple are back together.

 

A friend of the pair told The Sun: "Jamelia and Darren are back together. One of their problems was the distances they travel for work. But they still love each other.

 

"Jamelia has moved back to Birmingham, near her family, and Darren now lives in Bristol. But he will go to Birmingham when he can and she will go to Bristol at weekends. There's every chance they will be living together before long."
