September 17, 200717 yr Consistent with what I have been saying all along Gulf War 2 was all about oil and not liberating the Iraqi people. There is no oil in Zimbabwe hence why Mugabe who is as vile if not more vile than Hussein was is allowed to carry on his genocide free from American interference

There is no oil in Zimbabwe hence why Mugabe who is as vile if not more vile than Hussein was is allowed to carry on his genocide free from American interference And not only Mugabe, the list is endless and the reasons vary, for example, North Korea (they might have a nuclear bomb), Iran (surely much better army than Iraq had) etc. And while one might say even thou a totally vile person, Hussen probably did care at least a bit about the citizens (at least certain ethniticies) but leaders like Mugabe and of N. Korea care only about their power. Thou I don't think it was just oil thou, I bet Bush Senior was still so pissed that he couldn't oust Hussein that he helped his son to make the decision to bring Hussein down.
